The survey says…

One component of Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran School’s on-going improvement effort is an annual survey of parents with children attending the school. 

Each year they are asked “What do you like most about this school?” 

The answers have not varied.  

Parents tell us that they most value this school for:

The overall school environment.  Parents describe it as Christian, loving, and encouraging.

That the school is Christ-centered and helps children integrate that faith into their daily lives.

The staff.  Parents describe the staff as outstanding, loving, positive and Christian.

The small class sizes.

The curriculum...  
bullet

The Early Childhood Department is often described as child-centered and developmentally appropriate.  

bullet

The Elementary Grades Department is often described as excellent, challenging and diverse (such as foreign language study).
